Kirby Peres
Vice President Business Development

As Vice President Business Development, Kirby has broad responsibility for oversight of all aspects of customer interaction and client relations, including business development and program delivery. Kirby began his career over 25 years ago with one of the original operational excellence consulting firms. He has spent these years directly in the greater Oil & Gas (up/mid/downstream) industry, the process/petrochemical industry, and within the power utility industry on both the generation and transmission/distribution side. 

This first experience watching clients empirically improve in the field and on the plant floor was inspiring to Kirby. He quickly realized how satisfying it was to help clients improve even faster than they could on their own and also realized how much fun this was personally and professionally.

Born and raised in west Texas, Amarillo specifically, Kirby has been a part of and exposed to the energy world even as a kid. Both his parents were in the greater energy industries. His father was an executive with a precursor to Pioneer and his mother worked directly with T. Boone Pickens at Mesa Petroleum.

Kirby now lives and has lived in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex for the last 30 years with his wife Robyn and two sons.

He attended both Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Dallas and additionally completed an Executive Program at Stanford University.
